Relieve Pain, Restore Strength, Return to an Active Lifestyle
We recognize every injury is unique and every person’s situation is different. At Wallace & Nilan Physical Therapy (WNPT), we specialize in targeting the root mechanical causes of one’s injury by using the most advanced practices and techniques. By creating a comprehensive and personalized approach, we are able to get our patients better faster and help prevent future injury. Here is how we do it:
PERSONALIZED EVALUATIONS:
Physical therapy begins with an initial evaluation. The clinical findings, diagnosis, and treatment plan are discussed with the patient. Treatment begins the same day and a home exercise program will be developed to compliment the therapy treatments. Our patients are treated by the same physical therapist throughout their care.
HANDS-ON MANUAL THERAPY:
Our physical therapists are skilled in the most advanced physical therapy techniques including: Active Release Technique (ART), Graston Technique, Kinesio Taping, and Functional Movement Screen (FMS). These and other specialized hands-on techniques are often part of the treatment plan designed to achieve a quick recovery and prevent future recurrences in the involved areas.
DIRECTED THERAPEUTIC EXERCISE:
Patients are guided through specialized exercises that are tailored to each individual’s unique needs in order to regain movement, increase strength, and promote safe exercise principles that last a lifetime.
BIOMECHANICAL AND FUNCTIONAL RETRAINING:
Patients will learn how to move and position their bodies safely, more effectively, and without pain, whether it’s throwing a baseball, picking up their child, or sitting at a desk.
